Corporate Desk - Business Analyst
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Prepare client pitch books and proposals, marketing materials and manage internal presentations
Research and analyze clients' financial profile and market dynamics to assist in the identification of potential opportunities
Review deal documentation
Perform transaction return analysis
Work with various departments within the Bank to ensure proper processing of deals through closing
Create and maintain database of comparable transactions
Assist in the maintenance of accurate deal pipeline reporting and the ongoing monitoring of portfolio and budget tracking
Liaise with market participants and different areas of the Bank, such as Corporate Banking, Capital Markets, Debt Advisory, Risk, Legal, and Operations
Assess the management and economic performance of customers and in implementing the necessary corrective actions
Administer preliminary tasks linked to loan application
Participate in the preparation of business plans for the relevant customers
Interact, operationally with the relationship structures in Italy and abroad for the relevant customers
Job Requirements
2- 3 years of working experience in the corporate banking space, of which some relevant professional experience in the job offered or closely related banking role, with comprehensive knowledge of Corporate Banking, Syndicated Loans, Trade Finance and Debt Capital Market products
Resourceful self-starter, with willingness to learn, superior attention to detail, professional demeanour, and ability to work effectively on multiple projects
Teamwork attitude, with ability to interact and build healthy working relations in a culturally diverse environment
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), Bloomberg, Knowledge of LPC Loan Connector and Debt domain platforms.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, with an emphasis on Corporate Finance, Financial Accounting or Economics
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to understand and analyze syndicated deal structures and loan documentation
Knowledge of commercial, corporate and investment banking products, with a focus on infrastructural coverage and similar counterparties
Credit/financial analysis skills
Knowledge of legal documentation for corporate transactions
Knowledge of Spanish, is essential
