Financial Institutions Internship
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
developing trade export finance transactions
evaluating the credit, country and documentary risks inherent in each proposed trade export transaction and assess the bank's risk appetite for such
preparing and following-up on credit proposals
coordinating with Treasury and back office to insure smooth handling of transactions.
Monitor disbursements and settlements
Participate in meetings on an as needed basis
Prepare meeting reports for circulation to Senior Management and subsequent forwarding to H/O and/or branches/subsidiaries of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group's network as may be required
Stay abreast of market developments in the trade export finance market
Job Requirements
General understanding of import/export finance, international business, its products and common practices.
Excellent language and strong interpersonal skills
Credit/financial analysis skills
Interest and/or knowledge of import/export financing dynamics, with a focus on Latin America and other Emerging Markets
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
Credit and analytical skills
Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is an advantage
